HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
5 DECEMBER – INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY
Before you try to participate in the operations of our Foundation, try to ask yourself the following questions:
• Take some time and think whether you like being with children and whether you are patient and understanding towards problems of children?
• Think whether you are ready to start helping a child who may have been neglected, or is socially unadjusted or suffering from emotional problems.
• Think whether you will find time for additional obligations taking your busy life into account? Do you want to dedicate your free time to helping others? If yes, specify how much time you have at your disposal and how often during the week.
• Think whether you are able to accept and start collaboration with the personnel of a children's home.
• Think whether you are ready to honestly explain to the child that you will only be able to help them for a limited amount of time and will not be able to spend every minute with them.
Should you have any questions or doubts as regards the idea of volunteering, visit our Foundation's head office.
